Just because you know you’ll miss them doesn’t mean you should follow them to school. You will be much better people if you live your own life. Then if you get back together you’ll be happier because you can do your own thing and still be with them. All the new shiny things at college sometimes make it hard to reconcile your old life with your new life. Things are going to change and its not nice to promise or force your lover to promise to stay the same for you. Go to college sure, even go to the same one! But be prepared to be yourself and your own person.

Then Bobby moves on to a new girl in 2 weeks after being with Betty for 15 months! Awkwardly, Bobby and Betty go to school together while Bobby’s new girlfriend, let’s call her Suzy, goes to a school 400 miles away. Bobby decides he wants to be friends with Betty, and Betty wants him back, so she decides she can handle friendship. Then Bobby tells her that he is getting engaged to Suzy… Friendship ruined. Awkward moments abound. Bobby and Betty try their hardest to completely avoid each other on a campus of 30,000 students, but it is nigh impossible. This is why you don’t go to college with your sweetheart. Because you won’t be his sweetheart, even if he will always be yours. :( True story.
