Personally I was shooting for no loans to graduate, but these last two semesters have caught up with me and I have had to take some small ones out. I really do not think most college students realize just how much they are borrowing, and how much a month they will have to pay back after graduation. I think most count on getting that snazzy job after graduation, and I feel bad for them, ever since people stopped hiring grads like they used to we are all feeling it. Hopefully things will start to pick up soon and the debt won't be as bad as it is (debt is bad, but it really is bad when there is no way to pay it). I also have seen some students take out loans for things they don't really need, like a new Ipad or a shopping spree...quit doing that everyone! You are shooting yourself in the foot! If you don't have the money, don't spend it!
