    If you are planning to attend state I would strongly suggest you get a parking decal, because they will boot your car! Another good tip is get to know the history of the school. I take a lot more pride in my HBCU now that I know the history and what it took to become great.

    I have many tips for future students coming to this University in the near future. It is very imperative to have your financial aid in order, if not then you will become very stressed. It is always good to have fun, but do not forget that your main goal is to earn a degree. Make sure you attend all of your classes and that you are on time. Make sure that you surround yourself with the right crowd, because you are who you associate yourself with. There are many resources on campus such as the career center, the library, and much more. Be familiar of all of them because they will help you out, a lot.
