Study, study, study. Get involved. Have fun but get your work done. Network. Get to know some upperclassmen they most likely will be of help to you. Communicate with your professors.

Tip #1 Don't be afraid to get to know your professors they always want to help. Tip#2 Don't be afraid to ask current students about their experiences at the school, how a person feels about their school tells you a lot about the university. Tip #3 Always do your own research, never rely on someone else to make major decisions for you.

I would advise prospective students to stay on track in high school, apply to as many colleges as you can afford, and visit as many campuses as you can schedule. The following website: ga411.org, is a wonderful site where you can apply to multiple colleges (some without any application fee) and the application is very easy. Fill out your fafsa, get your high school transcript, get immunization, etc. Don't wait around. Also, college is your decision; and, like most things in life besides breathing and blinking, it is not for everyone. Please avoid being forced to attend an educational institution, and/or feeling like college is your only option.
