    If you don't want to eat in the cafe, you can always eat at subway, pizza hut, or the bagel shop. These are all located on campus and in walking distance. If you don't want to eat on campus then just a few miles away also in walking distance in downtown albany are a bunch of restaurants.

    The cafeteria has various foods weekly. We have a hot line, which usually serves some sort of meats and vegetables; a pizza line, a sandwich line, a burger line, and a desserts table.

    Albany State University has just also gotten a new dinging hall. It consists of a sandwich line, hot kitchen line, sizzling line, pizza line, salad and fruit bar, and dessert bar. The University also has three on-campus restaurants: Subway, Pizza Hut, and Chik-fil-A.

    The food on campus is awesome. We also have RamBucks which are meal plans for you to eat at the on campus restaurants. We have Chic Fil A, Pizza Hut, Einsteins, and Subway.

    Albany State currently has chapter of all of the Divine Nine Fraternities and Sororities: Alpha Phi Alpha, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Beta Sigma, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho, and Iota Phi Theta as well as National Band Sororities and fraternities such as Tau Beta Sigma, Kappa Kappa Psi and National Music Fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
