Around Town

We have parties and games...

Hang out at the union. They have bowling lanes,billiard tables, chess and checker tables, and much more to offer.

For fun I attend school sponsored events on the campus.

Intramerial sports is aLways fun for students. Football, basketball, baseball is the most common sports played on the campus. Alcorn host different events like dances and concerts for fun. Alcorn students enjoy when the band plays for them in the afternoons.

I watch movies and hang out with a friend.

For fun on campus, there are a huge amount of social events that happen regularly for students to attend at their leisure,and there are also sporting events throughout the year. In addition, there is a small on campus bowling alley, pool hall, and recreation space for students on campus.

Truthfully, some of the more active students, play basketball, work out, play games and we go to some of the events on campus. Some students go to the club and parties and some students

Go to the local town to the mall.

Since Alcorn is fairly isolated, the SGA as well as other sororities and fraternities hold many different events for the student body.

The school always has some type of events going on so there is never a down moment at Alcorn State Univeristy.
