Am learning a lot
Classes are small and easy to focus. The teachers work hard to help you understand and are there to help you when you need assistance.
Am enjoying being here
I love being on campus with the many activities they have and programs they offer.
Tips for prospective students
For students who say college is not for everyone, they lied Allegany has something for someone. Staff at Allegany are there to help, all you have to do is ask for the help you need. Resources are everywhere on the campus and it
Great for these types of students
This school is great for students who enjoy small colleges where everyone knows each other and the teachers are very hands on. Students who were not the college type but know that college is important and want to make the first step Allegany is great! Don't rush into the big universities and not be focused, Allegany is perfect for a starter school.

The education level is very nice. The teachers at Allegany are always willing to not only work with you on your assignments but in your everyday study routine. The offer great advice and amazing tips. I can personally say that just education wise, they provided me, so far, with a wonderful education in speech, math, and muscular skeletal anatomy.

The campus is just wonderful. They just renovated the library so it is nothing short of beautiful. Also the buildings are set up in an organized fashion that makes it easy to get to one class to the next. The only problem would be that sometimes they set your classes up for to close of time periods and getting to your next class can be a challenge. Another problem though is parking. Try to make sure you show up at least 10 min early to get parked and not be late to your class.
Bang for the buck
There financial aid office is not the best. I have personally been having trouble getting help from them since the begging, but hopefully after this semester things will pick up. Don't be afraid to ask them questions though because they are always willing to give an answer and fix problems that may occur.
Tips for prospective students
Never be intimidated by your teachers. Always ask questions, this is big. Don't think that a problem will fix its self. Keep a section to record your grades to make sure each class has the right percentage for you.( don't be afraid to do this because teachers can make mistakes and its ok to tell them about it. I promise they wont get mad at you.) Try to show up to your class early. Never put off your studies. Do not text in class.
Great for these types of students
Outgoing, laid back, tight work schedule, dedicated, older adults, first time students, kids who need a good education on a budget,

The professors and the staff are very nice. The students can be a bit shy but that is total normal. Everyone listens to everyone, from scheduling to Financial Aid
Tips for prospective students
Check your student email every day
Try making new friends
If you are a new student, sign up to be in the Pathways for Success program. They new students feel right at home and help with school
Academic Rigor
The classes are great and some teachers are nice. Stay on the teachers good side and study hard, you will graduate college in no time.
Dorm Life
We have apartments with four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Each person gets their own room. There is a kitchen, living room, a storage closet and a balcony where people can enjoy the evening when it's nice outside.
Food and Dining
The food is amazing. They serve hot and cold food, plus snacks for on the go people. They only serve breakfast and lunch, so people who live on campus have to find ways to make dinner. I recommend for the apartment getting the essential foods, like bread, milk, and eggs for everyday use, and have extra money for lunch.
What to do for fun
There are all kinds of clubs at Allegany. There is a Christian Fellowship Club and some sports club. There is always time to join any program or club at Allegany.
Great for these types of students
Get a laundry card especially before the winter. Snow starts falling by the end of November and people who can not come home on weekends but have laundry, th e laundry card comes in handy.
Clubs and Activities
The clubs and programs are amazing at Allegany. Each one is fun in their own way. There are clubs for tutoring and all of are sports team.
Campus Safety
When you live on Campus, lock your bedroom door and your apartment door. It helps keep your belongings safe while you are at classes.

Has amazing teachers that actually care and strive to give you a true learning experience. The school offers many online classes giving you the ability to be flexible with school and a job, which is very important because it is a 2 year college.
Tips for prospective students
Don't overwhelm yourself, take advantage of the online classes, pay attention and study.
Bang for the buck
Very cheap, $1,500 for 4 classes.
