The classes here are VERY intense. Be prepared to study A LOT. But also, be prepared to be intelligent and actually have something knowledgeable to contribute to conversations. I like being able to talk about something meaningful with my parents now like politics (Political Science major! lol).

It's a small, close-knit school, which is good because everyone (including professors) knows you, but bad because everyone knows you. Alma College works hard to make sure all the students are taken care of as best they can. The school works together in a harmony that I've never seen; bringing together Greek Life, academics, and everything else in between. Alma is a bubble: once there you're basically cut off from the outside world. Within the bubble the student body consists of cliques made up of the numerous clubs and organizations on campus. Once you're in one place, it's difficult to fit in somewhere else.» Read More
