» Read MoreAlverno is in a great area and close to downtown Milwaukee. Considering that Alverno is an all women's school, I feel like you are able to focus on school and succeeding rather then boys and having to dress to impress. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Also, teachers remember your name and the staff is very friendly. I am enrolled in the nursing program and love it. They offer a four-year degree so I can go further with my career.
