Categories Comments Campus Safety It is an indoors campus and is pretty small. Its in a secluded location so I think that it is a very safe place to be where you can focus on your studies.
Great for these types of students Those who want to get out into the work force asap and are willing to pay a little extra money to get there.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus It is right off the freeway and restaurants are close. There are also gas stations to get a quick coffee to stay awake and alert in class.
Food and Dining Lots of eateries very close.
Academic Rigor You will be expected to do your best and be on time and have perfect attendance. If you arent serious about nursing than dont waste your time here because they do mean business.
Tips for prospective students Look for lots of scholarships and save up as much money as you can. The school is very costly but I think its worth it since you graduate with your RN and in less than two years.
In three sentences It is a small, professional atmosphere. Small class sizes but the school has state of the art equipment which will provide students with a very good opportunity to acquire a good education here.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Safe, you really feel no sense of danger. The campus is in a safe neighborhood.
Great for these types of students If you are hard working, persevering, and have a willing attitude, this school is for you.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Holidays are always fun as there are competitions that take place with the various programs.
Bang for the buck Obviously the tution may seem high, but it is very worth the money you pay. They help with employment and really focus on your strengths and weaknesses to help in that aspect that is just as important as the academics done.
What to do for fun The labs are always open to practice in which is useful and overall fun. It is always entertaining and educational to talk to teachers on their experiences while practicing what you've learned that day.
Academic Rigor Most programs there take a year, thus many classes are fast paced and can be deemed as difficult. I have only experience with the Surgical Technology program and will say it is very rigorous both academically and Lab wise. However, it is something that the persevering student can do.
Tips for prospective students Do your research. It is important that you know what you want by looking up your desired field. Also, think of your future. It is important to ensure that you will truly be satisfied with what you choose as a career path.
In three sentences Ameritech College is a school that focuses on academics and career placement. They are willing to work with each individual to ensure success in whichever path you choose within their program. The staff/faculty there are friendly, open, honest people that you won't find in the road that is life.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Great for students who are working in the field and need to get their degree. Great for moms who can't spend three years working on an associates.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus You are allowed one absence per class per semester ore you fail.
Bang for the buck You can get your degree quick, with a greater expense. You have to attend you cannot have absences or you don't pass. You have to pass your classes if you fail two then your done. You must be flexible with your classes and clinicals, they do not work around you.
What to do for fun They have a yearly softball tournament staff against students, student appreciation and lots of fund raisers.
Academic Rigor The nursing classes are great. I feel like you learn more and have more opportunity for questions and help. However the generals are not quite up to par, but I do feel like they are easier than a state university.
Tips for prospective students Research the credits you can transfer, that will help save money. If you want to continue on for a bachelors degree, research the schools your credits can be transferred to.
In three sentences Instructors are more accessible and willing to help. Small classes. The tuition is quite expensive.
