Very cheap, transferable credits, especially if you live (and/or plan to attend a 4-year college) in-state.

AACC is more affordable than larger universities and offers flexible course options. It is great for people who want a vocational degree or who plan on completing coursework before transferring to a 4 year university.

This is a small and cozy college with professors who love what they do. The opportunities and resources for students of any academic program are vast and the office staff is incredibly helpful. There are also tons of clubs and organizations for every type of student interest.

It is an advanced community college that serves as a perfect step in the transition from high school to university. It is an affordable way to earn your early/basic credits. The class sizes are reasonable and the instructors have all been helpful.

Overall, it's a very excellent school. The staff is knowledgeable, and while some classes are lacking, as a whole AACC is one of the best community colleges in the state. It's also very flexible in terms of classes and there are numerous teachers to learn from if one doesn't meet your expectations.

The Anne Arundel Community College is just that-- a community; all of the teachers (and a lot of the students, too) are very respectful and helpful. When many people think of a community college, they may think that the education provided there will fall short of that provided by a four-year institution, but because of the helpful teachers and staff, the quality of education provided at AACC is exceptional. Also, there are a number of student and faculty-run organizations that are constantly welcoming students to try new things.
