Categories Comments What to do for fun there are really no activities at this college. this college is almost a strictly educational college.
Food and Dining the food is excellent here, but it is also a litle bit costy.
Dorm Life they do not have dorms, this is a community college.
Academic Rigor this is my first semester there, so i cant reall give you any academic rigor.
Tips for prospective students any student who wants to attend this college should go through the abe classses to make getting into their programs easier. the abe classes help you pass the accuplacer exam to get into your courses.
In three sentences anoka college, is a college where you can get things done. they have free tutoring and a help center if you need any help with homework, resumes, finding jobs, etc... i think the college is great.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I've never had a problem, but there are campus police during open hours.
Great for these types of students Students who want a technical degree.
Bang for the buck It's a technical school so you know exactly what you will be doing when you leave here. The price is LOW in comparison to other colleges in the area with the same programs.
What to do for fun There are great parks that are just a short drive away if you need a break.
Food and Dining Dining is closed during night classes so I bring my dinner.
Dorm Life Off campus
Academic Rigor It's not Yale, but you aren't going to get a 4.0 just from sitting in the class, so make sure to study the material your teacher gave you.
Tips for prospective students Making regular visits to your professors when they have the time to sit down and speak with you. You may have to schedule your visits, but it's worth it!
In three sentences My expectations were that this school, like my previous school, would have the You're an adult now. You figure it out. attitude, but I couldn't be more wrong. The staff treats you with respect but is also willing to go above and beyond to help you succeed. When you come to Anoka Tech, you gain a family.

In three sentences I am happy with the facilities provided by the school. Most of the teachers are very helpful. The teachers put it in your hands to benifit from your education.
