Arkansas State University-Newport is a 2-year community college with three campuses in northeast Arkansas. ASUN is home to four academic departments hosting degree and certificate-granting programs of study in technical and business fields. Students wishing to join the Cosmetology program must submit a separate application and only those who gain admission are allowed to take courses. For students who wish to transfer to a 4-year institution, ASUN holds articulation agreements for transfer to Arkansas State and the University of Central Arkansas.
