Around Town

Russellville is fairly limited on activities outside of the campus, but I highly recommend inter-mural activities. Great way to meet people!

There is plenty to do for fun at Tech. Outside of classes and work, you can either relax in a friends room or your own residence hall lobby. If the weather is great, walk down campus to the Techtionary to meet up with friends and socialize, or stay outside to throw a Frisbee in the grass. If campus is still too stuffy, you can journey off-campus to one of the many parks or fields for some fun in the sun. You can go to the lake to swim, go fishing or one of the athletic fields to practice. There is plenty on, and off-campus to entertain yourself in your free time.

Anything and everything you can do for fun. The lake is right near by as well as hiking and walking spots. The movie theater is around the corner, but you don't even have to leave if you want. Doc Bryan building shows movies on a regular bases for tech students for free!

Most of my time at Arkansas Tech, I spent driving back and forth to Russellville because I lived an hour away except during one year of school. While in Russellville, my friends and I went to Front Street Grill & Bar (across the river in Dardanelle), the movies, and one of our friend's house. There are some very nice hiking and running places around Russellville and lots of water around.

Oh there's lots. They always have intramural sports games going on. You can see people playing frisbee or Quidditch. S.A.B likes to have things going on for students to do. There's a bowling alley, theatre, skating rink, public pool, and more nearby in town.

Everything!!! like i said the have events 24/7. there is stuff to do out of campus. Bowling, pool, movies, ect.

Join clubs and activities. Even if you dont like that sort of thing, they have something for everyone

The campus has many things going on at once like SAB with movie night, or some other program with their activities.

Going to campus events is a really fun thing to do because of the fact that the people here are great!!!

There is always something fun going on at Tech. The Student Activities Board, SAB, usually does something every week that caters to the student, whether it be a paint war, watching a new movie that has come out, or playing a nice game or Humans Vs. Zombies.
