Around Town

the mall is close by and so are several restaurants as well as the downtown area

Armstrong offers plenty of volunteer opportunities and fun activities to do on campus. There is always something social going on every week at the university.

The campus is close to the beach and downtown. There are always things happening on the weekends in Savannah.

Not a whole lot to do, but there are some events.

Many beautiful water fountains and gardens are spread out on campus, biking/ jogging/ walking trails. Across the road there is a pool gallery, a mall, and for those of us that like to shoot, there is a target shooting range near by. Very safe location.

This college isn't terribly exciting, so you have to go off campus to look for fun. The beach is only 20/30 minutes away, and there's malls and stores all within a few minutes of the school.

Go to the school functions. Show school spirit at the games and open mic.

For fun.. Let me see. There is Tybee Island not too far away, take some time and just walk or swim on sunny warm days. A mall, actually two, to go in walk around and look for some new things to get yourself.

There are always some sort of activity going on whether it is a club meeting or a gathering open to all students.

You can go to downtown Savannah and check out great historical sites, and walk River Street, which is a great tourist attraction. St. Patrick's Day is also a big holiday in Savannah.
