Around Town

At Auburn University, as students, we usually go downtown where there is food, entertainment, and a fun filled environment. Often, we have famous musical guests to come and perform such as Hot Chelle Rae, Taylor Swift, and many more. Because Auburn offers a close-knit atmosphere it is very easy to meet people and find new things to do. Auburn offers things to do on-campus and off-campus.

I chose to join a club within my department, the Block and Bridle Club. Joining was the best decision I have made because I met almost all my friends down here in this club.

All types of sporting events available, so many clubs, and lots of friendly people.

This really depends on what you enjoy to do in your free time. At Auburn, we have sports clubs, academic clubs, religious clubs, outdoors clubs, and much more. The beauty of this is that you get to choose what you enjoy doing for fun and do that. If you're into sports then join an intramural soccer or softball team, but if you enjoy reading, then join a book club. This is all up to you, but become involved at Auburn in some of the great organizations offered.

I really enjoy going to the Student ACTivities Center, also you have to check out the UPC website to find out about all the fun stuff that goes on, on campus. Tiger Nights!

Sporting events, rolling toomers, shopping downtown, seeing movies, bowling, roller blading, hanging with friends on/off campus. There's plenty!

Intramural/Club sports, Chewacla State Park, shopping downtown, University Program Council events (ex. concerts), bars, Greek (philanthropy events, parties)

Football games!

The greek life is thriving here. Also you get to roll the Toomer's trees on game day! We are only an hour away from Atlanta too!
