My favorite thing to do at Auburn is go to the football games. The student section is so much fun and the football team is really good. The whole university and town of Auburn is very into football, so if you do not like it, your Saturdays will be a little lonely here. I also love going to basketball games and gymnastics meets. Also, Auburn's University Program Council has fun concerts and events that happen all year. In August, they got Ben Rector and Switchfoot to come for a free concert! Thanks to them and all of the campus organizations, there is always something to do.

Downtown Auburn is right outside the campus and a lot of people hit the bar scene heavy on the weekends. If you're under 19 you can't get in and that limits what you can do but there's always something for everyone. If you go Greek there's always stuff that your organization will have going on and if you're not there's still people you can find to hang out with too. When there's not anything to do in Auburn, Birmingham, Montgomery and Atlanta aren't that far away if you want to road trip it that way. Parties aren't everything though. If you're not into that then there's definitely other stuff to do in Auburn too. Really there's something for everyone.

Campus life is a lively and an enthusiastic experience. It is so many great organizations to join and so many other extracurricular activities to be apart of, but as we all know, you won't be able to join all of them or too many because most of your time is taken up by your academics so you have to be very careful on the organizations you specifcally join. Hope it's not too many. Moreover, Aburn University does provide its students with a network-based site called AUinvolve where you can go look up all the organizations that are around campus that you may want to join. This is very convenient for the lazy people.

There is a lot to do for fun near and on Auburn's campus. Downtown College Street is a great place to go shopping and eat during the day, and then at night the bars open up which are full of great places to dance and socialize. During the fall, since Auburn is an SEC school every Saturday campus becomes alive with football fans with our fight song playing all over campus. We also have a bowling alley, movie theater, a mall, and shopping center in Opelika, the neighboring town. The fraternities are also always throwing parties, which if you are a girl you are always welcome and boys are more of a hit and miss.
