As far as fun goes, it depends on the campus you are attending. I attended Pinnacle, Riverside, and Rio Grande. Out of all three Rio Grande was the most fun because there are many places that you can walk to that are nearby. For example, if you had a couple of hours of downtime, you could go get an Amy's ice cream, go walk around at Whole Foods, read a book at Book People, go shopping at Anthropologie, etc. That campus is also located in downtown Austin, so that area is loaded with things to do on your free time. As for the other two campuses, they were located in less happening areas, so it was more limited in what you could do. I usually had lots of fun on campus with my study groups, as we would make our study sessions fun. The people at this campus are pretty nice so it is easy to meet new friends and find people who share the same major or classes with you. Overall, whether I was visiting somewhere near campus or staying on campus, the fun stemmed from being surrounded by friends and meeting new people. At ACC, the fun is all what you make of it since it is only a junior college and lacks some of the perks that a regular university has.

Austin Community College District has Student Life rooms to come hang out & watch tv, read a book, or compete in Dungeons & Dragons battle. There is information always at the ready & often Austin Community College District will hold friendly competitions right on campus to gain knowledge of many topics including; graduate schools, healthcare & wellness, student jobs, & even major-specific fundraising. Often times I find myself visiting the Conflict of Peace meetings/viewings which engage my eyes as well as my mind with different types of Austin Community College District students.

Austin Community College is located in Austin, TX, the live music capital of the world! There is no shortage of awesome and interesting night life to check out in the city. Austin city also offers many free events such as the Hot Sauce Festival, the Veggie Festival, Eeyore's Birthday Party, the Trail of Lights, Theater in the Park, Blues on the Green, and several others, all held in city parks and free to the public. There is literally something going on every weekend!

There are a ton of hang-out spots like benches and picnic tables. I attend the Northridge campus. It's definitely one of the better ones in my opinion because it is not heavily used and the designers were smart.
