Our school has a lot of activities from concerts, to festivals, sports meets, dances, and a lot more opportunities to get to know your campus and the people in it.

There's many rezlife activities, but downtown Pasadena and Glendora have great coffee shops, churches, movie theaters, thrift shops, ice skating rinks, anything!

APU has a strict no alcohol, drug-use (as does any other college) yet here it is like openly condemning yourself to your fellow school mates. Although parties are not obviously apparent, you can always find one if you really look (again, it's like openly condemning yourself). Outside of this, APU is right at the foothills of beautiful mountain ranges, which many venture up quite often. There are stores and theatres nearby that many students regularly go to. And being just 40 minutes away from the large-city area of LA , Disneyland, and beaches, APU students can always find something new to do.

College is what you make of it. There are not a lot of places to go around in Azusa and hang out and it is not very safe but if you embrace college life and dorm life then it will be exciting as you will just be hanging out with friends, watching movies on week nights. Though there is not a lot of off campus activities there are football, basketball, and several other sporting events that APU has to entertain its students on the weekends.

Each dorm has a different event that they plan and there are a few parties that the resident life leaders hold in the beginning of the year.

There is a movie theatre and an arcade right by the school Communiversity is always putting on events. Pasadena is just half an hour away and there are plenty of shopping activites as well as sport-like activities to engage in like sky zone and ice skating. Disneyland and Universal Studios aren't too far away and students who have passes usually go there at least once a month.

People go to the beach which is half an hour away or go to Hollywood. There is a mountain behind the school so people hike to the top for fun as well. There are always on campus events on the weekends too.

Honestly, we're close to LA, the beach and the mountains. There are plenty hiking trails and shopping centers around here. If you're a thrift shopper you could go around the city of Azusa. Gyms and plenty other sports facilities are accessible as well.

Hike the trail behind the campus, play sports on the new recreation field, runs or trips to the local donut shop or movie theater across the street.

Azusa is in the middle of almost everything, so finding something to do should not be that hard. You could go hang out in the mountains and end at the beach if you wanted to, without overwhelming amounts of travel.
