The School of Nursing in Topeka is wonderful. You'll feel a sense of pride walking up to Pozez Education Center. It's affiliation with Stormont Vail is a great benefit.

It's a small school with a few very creepy kids on campus, and some nice ones too. The faculty are nice, except for one, but I won't ever take his lecture class again. The buildings are okay. Science is nice, but the music and art buildings are terrible. The library is nice too, but small, and too hot.

The nursing program is a very intense and well developed program. The professors and staff and always kind and ready to help. The opportunity for real nursing practice is very high at this nursing school.

Baker University School of Nursing is a smaller, more personalized program for students seeking a BSN degree. The school was built within the Stormont-Vail hospital in Topeka, so you are literally right next door to your clinical setting. Baker is a top-rated nursing school, and so graduates of their program are reputable and highly competitive.
