Around Town

I hang out and mess around with friends in order to have fun, but I realize that not everyone is as easy to entertain as I am. Luckily, the campus is located 15 minutes from Cleveland, and you have the whole city at your disposal. Check out the clubs, or theatres, and you're bound to find a good time!

The campus offers some great programs (Midnight Madness, Night Out on The Town) that do some pretty great things for cheap (Kalahari, Indians games, Dave N' Busters, etc.) and some organizations will do events as a fundraiser for their group or for charity--there's always something going on at BW. And if that's not really your thing Berea has a couple nice spots uptown and the City of Cleveland is a 20 min. drive away--you have to try to be bored around here.

The town of Berea is pretty small-if you have a car, go into Cleveland!

Downtown Cleveland is 20 minutes away with many awesome things to visit, including the AMAZING Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, and more! Within walking distance, Coe Lake, one of the Cleveland MetroParks, Kidforce (comic book shop), Rosander's (Ice Cream and candy shop), plus many other food and shopping options! The Conservatory always has shows and programs every week also!

If you get involved on campus there is always something going on and should be more than enough to keep you busy and having fun.

There are football games every weekend and the mall is 5 minutes away. There are restaurants and things in downtown Berea and clubs and organizations have things around campus too.

Bw is kind of in the middle of nowhere but if you really look and are willing to drive a little bit, you can always find something to do.

It's not a big town, Berea, but there is always something to do if you make friends. If you are not a performer I would get involved in an organization or two to keep busy.

For fun students go to Midnight Madness every Thursday night. Students also go to school sponsored dances. They also join a club, association, or a fraternity/sorority.

Cleveland is just a few minutes North on I-71. There is always something happening on campus such as sports, concert, plays or hanging with your friends.
