    Bang for the buck

I am orginally from Columbus, Ohio were my family still lives. About five years ago I moved to St. Louis for an internship at Boys and Girls Town of Missouri. I have a Bachelors degree in Family Studies from Ohio University. At the time I wanted to become a counselor. Instead, I am a nanny/babysitter for a family with three beautiful girls for over four years. My passion is helping others! I have always felt this way as long as I can remember. Becoming an emergency room nurse at a children's hospital would be my dream job.

    What to do for fun

I love playing and watching sports. Volleyball is my passion even though I am 5'4. I also play softball in the summer.

    Food and Dining

I will not be staying around campus.

    Dorm Life

I will not be staying in a dorm.

    Academic Rigor

I was told that the Goldfarb accelerated program is extremely tough. There is a lot of information that is taught in a short amount of time. Anything below a 78% is a failing grade, two failing grades and one will be kicked out of the program.

    Tips for prospective students

Keep up on readings and studys! Anything below a 78% is a failing grade. Goldfarb offers many resources at the school to help. Nursing school is going to be tough, utilize the help!

    In three sentences

    Food and Dining

There is food around that you can walk to. The cafe at the school is a little small and limited.

    Dorm Life

    None

    Academic Rigor

It is very hard, and it takes up a lot of time, but it is worth it.

    Tips for prospective students

Don't expect to not study and still get by. Put in the work, and you will come out full of knowledge. I have seen so many people fail because they thought they could get by without studying.

    In three sentences

This school is very challenging. Also very rewarding. One of the best educations around!
