Great for these types of students great for online students who have days jobs and families.

Bang for the buck at $36 per unit, this has made obtaining an associates degree incredilby affordable.
What to do for fun i am an online student, so i am not sure what fun there is on campus. it is a small campus in a tiny desert town.
Food and Dining the campus only has a cafateria. since i am an online student, i have never been there.
Dorm Life there are no dorms.
Academic Rigor academic rigor is average. classes are not advanced, but not beginner levels either.
Tips for prospective students 1. meet with a counselor and set up an education plan. 2. keep a copy of the previous semester's class schedule so you have an idea of what to register for. 3. read each class syllabus carefully. 4. try online classes
In three sentences barstow community colllege is excellent for students fresh out of high school who are ready to begin their college education. the administration, registration, and financial aid staff are more than helpful, and i have not had any problems getting every class i need. however, the class schedule is not avaible until the day of registration, and many of the teachers are difficult to communicate with or understand.

What to do for fun sports, plays, and lots of game nights
Food and Dining Yummy Cafeteria, just kinda expensive.
Dorm Life although I haven't stayed the apartments near campus are beautiful.
Tips for prospective students Enjoy your time there and fight for the best grades you can get, because they always have opportunities to make sure you get an A.
In three sentences They are a fantastic college. Whenever i have a question I can give them a call and am transferred where i need to be in 5 minutes. Besides the Chemistry department, i have never had an issue with any class.

Categories Comments Campus Safety BCC supports and provides a safe environment. There are designated smoking areas and crosswalks along with their no weapons policy.
Clubs and Activities The drama club is particularly fine, they provide almost as much events as the ASB. ASB is another great club to join of you want to get more associated around the school.
Great for these types of students If you love the theatre and performing arts then BCC's drama department is one of the best in California. For those who want to go into the medical field, all it takes is to gain your general education and experience before you can transfer to some great medical schools and/or programs, such as Loma Linda University.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The drama department will host a Zombie Walk in which students can dress up as zombies and walk around the town. There's also a secret parking lot in which students will find easy parking on a daily basis.
Bang for the buck There are play productions from our drama department and bake sales as well.
What to do for fun There's a Recreational Room where students can lounge and play games with friends. There's always events taking place consisting of plays from our drama department, art shows, and even bake sales. Students can partake in other events such as pageants and our Halloween Special, the Zombie Run.
Food and Dining The cafertria, otherwise known as The Grill provides some of the best food for a reasonable price. The service is rather slow, but the food makes up for the wait. The eating area is comfortable and there's even a Recreational Room where you can eat and play a game with friends.
Dorm Life BCC does not offer dorms for it is simply a community college. There is an established neighbor nearby called the College Heights, however, any resident of the city can live there. Most students of BCC live at home or rent out their own place.
Academic Rigor Most students that attended here go off to attend four year universities after having completed their general education. Students can even choose to earn their bachelor's degree at this college as well. Our teachers are among the best around, and the courses are well worth your money.
Tips for prospective students If you want to get a head start on furthering your education then attend BCC, for it is a great way to get started on establishing your career goal. The campus isn't too large so it's very easy to find your way around. Most of the classes are easy and transferable.
In three sentences Barstow Community College is full of opportunity and specializes in making their student body feel welcome and successful. They have the friendliest environment and provide great educational values. There is a large variety of subjects and many career paths to undertake while attending this school.
