Barton might cost a pretty penny at first but when looking at the opportunities each person gets when attending this college it truly is a bang for its buck. Barton offers several services which includes tutors, computer labs that ever student has access to, a writing center in which will go over papers with you to show how you can improve as well as pre-exam jam and breakfast each semester so students can relax before exams, as well as 24 hour library hours during the week of exams to help students who need the quiet time or extra study materials. Most classrooms have some form of smart board for interactive class time to help the different learning styles of students. Last but not least Barton offers several SGA events throughout the year which include; dollar movie tickets, free movies in the theatre, homecoming dance, glow parties, and other types of fun activities.

The experience that you have in the classroom and with people is worth the money. Students are able to learn a lot in a classes of 20 students, some even smaller. You feel more like a person and not a number at this school. Professors and advisors actually work with you and are genuinely interested in helping.
