» Read MoreComing from a big city like Houston, the transition to Waco was difficult because my options were greatly limited. However, that doesn't mean there isn't anything to do. Waco has a great variety of restaurants and shops, as well as the stunningly beautiful Cameron Park (which has a zoo!). There are also lots of activities constantly occurring on campus which you can be involved in, and I enjoy just relaxing with friends out on the lawn. They also have a great marina off of the Brazos that is open for part of the year, and a great recreation center where you can exercise, play games, swim, or climb the rock wall. It honestly depends on the person, but I definitely wouldn't say there is nothing to do for fun in Waco.

I didn't leave campus much, but I've heard that there's a decent amount of activities to participate in! There are also some fun things to do on campus, such as swimming, canoeing, running on the bear trail, playing basketball at the student life center, working out, etc.

» Read MoreThere are a lot of clubs on campus, as well as organizations. Waco itself is small and offers little to do in means of nightlife, and daylife, but there is usually always something going on around campus.
» Read MoreDallas and Austin are only 1.5 hours away and there is so much to do there. Greek life gets you very involved and you will have a lot to do for fun.
» Read MoreFrankly, there's not much... you exhaust the options pretty soon.
» Read MoreWell to be honest there is not much to do in Waco if you don't look for it. A lot of students will drive up to Dallas or Austin for the weekend and party it up there but in Waco there are plenty outdoor activities to do like fishing, boating, playing in the local park, or visiting the zoo.
