Around Town

Concerts, Centennial Park downtown, and a plethora of others eventful festivities.

There are so many music venues around the area. But you don't have to even leave the campus to hear great music. There's always a show, recital, concert, or performance to hear.

Go downtown and go line dancing, to karaoke, listen to live music, or just people watch. Join greek life and get involved in one of the great sororities or fraternities. And of course, cheer on the bruins!

It is right in Nashville, so you can partake in all the things the city has to offer. There are also a ton of performances and things on campus. I understand that there is a strict no alcohol policy, so I can't expect a lot of typical partying.

There are tons of things to do in and around Belmont. Restaurants and stores are in walking distance. It's great to go to Fido for coffee. There are lots of funky shops around.

Nashville's Music Scene!

We've gone downtown and to the closest mall for shopping. There are always concerts both on and off campus.

Of course, there are always impromptu jam sessions and frisbee games on campus, but if you decide to step foot out into the real world, there are lots of great coffee shops (Bongo Java, Fido, Frothy Monkey), restaurants (SATCo, the Loveless Cafe, the Pfunky Griddle, Chuy's, Gigi's, Mafioaza's), shopping (Hillsboro Village, Green Hills, Cool Springs, Farmer's Market) and parks (Centennial, Bicentennial Mall, Warner Parks, Dragon Park). If you're bored, you're doing Belmont wrong.

Belmont is very close to downtown Nashville so students are able to go to clubs and restaurants. The campus itself offers many activities to enjoy such as inviting musicians to play a concert on campus, Halloween dance parties, or the campus favorite, the Battle on the Boulevard!
