Definitely pay mind to your academic advisers, they are there to help you out, not to try and bury you in debt or school work. Let them know exactly what you're looking for, or as close of an idea that you have, and consider their advice, and plan your schooling with their advice as a guideline, not a concrete plan.

I highly suggest checking this school out! It is a great place to start your education, even if you plan on transfering to a university to complete your degree. Very reasonable rates, plenty of interaction and great grounds. Safe and well lit!
