At Brigham Young University, there are numerous activities. We have two comedy groups that preform once a month as well as church activities that allow large groups of people to attend. In the Summer, we also provide the largest water balloon fight in the world, so that is definitely something to look forward to.

There are endless things to do for fun. Hiking the Y is always a crowd pleaser, but there are plenty of other social events to go to. BYU usually hosts some sort of event every weekend. The arts department always has some sort of show. There is also a few comedy groups that preform on a regular basis.

The university itself offers a lot to do, from sponsored student activities to service opportunities to lectures and recitals. The Wilkinson Student Center holds ping-pong tournaments, dollar movies, and a bowling alley, among other things. Downtown Provo has hot spots where you can hear up-and-coming bands or perform with your own. Provo Canyon is nearby, as are Utah Lake and Seven Peaks waterpark. There are many, many sports teams at BYU whose games you can attend, and there are bowling alleys, arcades, and two shopping malls nearby.

BYU is right up next to the mountains, and there are tons of hiking and biking trials, skiing and climbing locations to explore in just a few minutes drive from campus. While I'm not into it, there are a few music venues for new/up-and-coming bands in town that lot's of my friends like. The Sundance Film Festival is held only about a half hour away at Sundance every year, and that's always a big event.

Rooftop concerts, hiking, boating, tubing, swimming, hot tubbing, dollar movie, great delicious and affordable options for eating out, sporting events, ice skating/hockey, raving dance parties, and a variety of exciting activities happen every single day. There is always something to do.
