The school is old and run down. A lot of the professors seem as though they've given up. You'll still find a few gems but you have to search.

I'm in the Honors Learning Community Helix, which really isn't worth doing unless you're planning on transferring to a major school and want a transfer scholarship. However, It started out with 20 students and we all became really close, really quickly because we had to take 2 classes a semester with these people for 3 semesters. the class has slowly dwindled down to 9 people but we're all really close and help each other out. there are ways to get to know people and fun activities all the time. Don't listen to the Debbie Downers on Broward. They just wanted to do something more and couldn't.
