Categories Comments What to do for fun Sit on our lab tops...
Food and Dining We used to have a great cafe that had amazing pizza! But than we moved schools and now we have vending machines...so now it's a negative experience.
Dorm Life I have only heard negative things from students who have used the dorm life that Brown provides.
Academic Rigor Very well rounded program, we learn photography but also take some graphic, typography and video classes. But I do wish we had more of a photography focus.
Tips for prospective students I would look else where for your photography degree. This is a good radio and medical school but not for arts.
In three sentences Brown College needs to explore more options with their photography teachers. The students don't learn anything when they've had the same teacher for a year. I would maybe recommend this school to other people.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Not much to be worried about, but if there was, you would be in trouble!
Greek Life Non-existent.
Clubs and Activities There really isn't anything there. They do give a nice discount for a radio conclave that takes place every summer, but it is still about $100 for a weekend.
Great for these types of students Absolutely nobody!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus There are none. It is more like a private technical college, except they seem to accept anybody.
Bang for the buck Biggest waste of my money ever. I got absolutely nothing out of going to Brown College.
What to do for fun One nice thing is you live in the Twin Cities, so there is a lot to do.
Food and Dining The cafeteria food was actually pretty good. One of the few decent things there.
Dorm Life They stick you with people who aren't even part of your department, they charge you 200 dollars more than what apartments really go there for, and the apartments themselves are pretty run down!
Academic Rigor I didn't learn much of anything, and when I got out of college, and even while I worked during college, the places I went told me to forget what I learned, because they teach you things you don't need to know.
Tips for prospective students Look elsewhere! It is an experience I wish I could take back!
In three sentences I would not recommend Brown College due to high tuition, lack of credible teachers, and horrible career placement. I went for radio broadcasting, and I learned more as an intern than I did at the college, plus they gave me false information to get me to go there. I would highly recommend not wasting your time there.

Food and Dining none / student lounge
Tips for prospective students Go , talk with someone in admittance, let them give you a tour . Ask questions, and if you aren't clear about something let the person that you are talking to know. Don't sign up because of money, because this isn't the college that will cut you the big checks . Be clear about what type of field you see yourself in , after all it is your future.
In three sentences Brown Mackie College - Greenville SC is not just a college , but a family. Where you learn ,experience and enjoy attending classes that fit your life. At Brown Mackie College -Greenville you are not just another face in the crowd , and the open door policy is sincere from the President of the school to the instructors .
