Be prepared to get creative to keep yourself entertained, such as going into the city or joining athletic teams. Get to know your professors--the academic rigor is very high at Bryn Athyn, so it is even more important to have a good relationship with those teaching you. Lastly, don't be afraid to put yourself out there--you won't find a kinder group of people at any school, anywhere.
» Read MoreIf you are looking for a small school, one where you will have the ability to make friends, a name for yourself, and become involved, then Bryn Athyn College is the school for you. When I say small, I mean small. There are two hundred forty enrolled students, so make sure that that is an environment you will be willing to live in. However, just because we are small in numbers, does not mean we do not know how to have fun. We have division 3 athletic teams, consisting of players drafted from all over the country and we also have numerous organizations that host events, parties, and other fun activities.

» Read MoreIf you're considering Bryn Athyn College, be sure to visit, that's how I knew I wanted to be a student there. Also, ask questions while on a tour of the campus, it shows that you're interested and you might learn some interesting things about the town of Bryn Athyn and the people there. Be prepared for some lazy weekends, Bryn Athyn is only a few minutes outside of Philadelphia, but the town itself is very quite and rural. Do not be afraid to make friends while you're visiting the campus, teachers, administrators and current students are friendly faces on your first day as an official student!
