(For instance, BCC has a guaranteed transfer agreement with Rutgers, whereby if you keep you GPA at or above the required level and finish the appropriate classes you're guaranteed admission to Rutgers for the last two years of your degree.) By that metric, this is an excellent school. And don't worry about how going to a community college looks on your record - nobody really looks at the first two years of undergrad.
