For the most part, all of the classes are small enough that the professor knows your name and is able to pay more attention to the needs of the students. Because of this, it is much easier to learn more and to understand the topic without having to rush through anything. As long as you stay focused, I feel that the overall workload will never reach critical mass.

  • Apr-29-2013 I am researching this school and have visited the campus

I attended Butler on a college visit and was blown away by how beautiful, and specious the campus was. All of the buildings were centered very close to the dorms, and my tour guide kept bragging about their teacher to student ratio. The fact that they have only 2 lecture halls for their famous pharmacy department, and the rest of their classrooms are small and personal, made me feel like I would be a name, not a number.

The campus is beautiful and my host student was great. I was taken on a tour of the dorms, cafeteria, and attended classes in my prospective major with my host. Great day.

I applied to Butler because I knew that it was academically a great school, it was a perfect distance away and I knew about their basketball team. I had other schools that I was looking at but I visited Butler and it felt like a place I could call home.

Sounds up to date on curriculum and classes. Also, very expensive. The grounds may need an update.

It's a very personal, one-on-one type of school. There's always something fun to do. There are plenty of opportunities to talk to your professors and advisors about your grades and life issues.
