The environment is great. There are three separate buildings and Fiterman has a very professional vibe. CUNY BMCC has great opportunities and there are many spots for you to study quietly.

CUNY Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) is a good, affordable option for students who wish to earn their Associates Degree, spend a year or two increasing their GPA so they can transfer to a 4-year college or university, or those seeking to cut down on college costs in general by spending a year or two at home.

Affordable compared to most of the schools in the city. Small classes 20:1. You always know what classes you need to take.

The first two semesters your going to be stuck with immature kids who just graduated high school. Don't worry! It only gets better because you get into classes you actually like! You meet people from all walks of life with similar interests as you!

Bmcc is very culturally diverse. I have met a lot of friends from all over the world who are taking classes at bmcc in order to transfer to a four-year college. You can absolutely start at Bmcc and go to your ideal school and Bmcc will make you be well-prepared for that.

It Is Very Unorganized when it comes to the departments. Many of the teachers are horrible. Some of the faculty/staff show no interest in helping students who ask for the help.

Great place to start your education. The professors care about how you do in class as well as advice you for the future. The staff is very helpful.
