There are food courts off and on the campus but there is no meal plan. There are over 25 restaurants to pick from on a strip called the junction outside of campus. The campus has its own Starbucks cafe which is connected to the library if you feel like keep yourself glued to a computer.

The dining hall doesn't offer many healthy choices and variety (there's no gluten free options and such for people with sensitivities) and the food offered is fairly pricy.

Well, welcome to college where everything is so darn expensive. Don't worry, there is a whole bunch of places where you can get food near by off campus if you don't want anything. The food is not bad, it is just pocket challenging. There are near by food trucks, near by almost all the time so no need to worry!

The cafeteria in Brooklyn college does have its benefits. It's extremely convenient and the food isn't half bad. Overpriced, no doubt, but it's really the only place on or around campus to get a healthy sandwich. (Trust me I've looked) There is a small deli nearby off campus but the staff is snooty and it's turned me off from shopping there. Their prices aren't very welcoming either. The other alternatives are Quiznos, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Popeyes and a few others. Depends on your preference but students aren't disappointed with the variety.

The food in Brooklyn College and around it is not healthy, it is low in quality. I suggest you bring food from your home.

The food is great, there is variety and great quality. You have the choice of dining in the cafeteria or other stores steps away from campus.

The food on campus isn't the greatest, however Brooklyn College is in the center of Flatbush, which is a cultural melting pot. Everything from Egyptian to Jamaican food: the surrounding area has it all.

We have sororities, so I've heard..and seen with everyone wearing sorority sweaters and jackets. Maybe I'll join one soon, but they all seem, well put together and all of that good stuff.

This college is not really big on greek life but there are a number of fraternities/sororities on campus. Even if the one you want isn't there, you can bring a chapter onto campus.

Check it out and see if you like any houses, if not petition to make your own sorority/fraternity by having potential members sign your proposal.
