    If you are going into majors such as psychology or sociology, Hunter is great. Hunter as well offers an entire major dedicated to Statistics. Just work hard and you may do fine, depending on the professor you have of course since there is no regulation in this school. Majority of professors are adjuncts so they are current students as well being exploited.

    My strongest advice is for student to get involved with either a club, athletic team, honor society or frat/ sorority. This is the best way to make friends at a commuter school.

    If you are planning on coming to Hunter, come with a plan on succeeding. Although it is a CUNY, it is as tough as many SUNY and private colleges, due to its rigorous science courses. But it offers many different form of help for struggling students so no need to worry as long as you are willing to put in the work.
