    It was a bang for a buck until tuition kept rising every year with the same looking school, same rats in the library, same underpaid adjuncts.

    Since it is a CUNY, it is already cheaper than most other schools. In addition, there are financial aids and multiple scholarships available as well as programs to help pay you for college. With education as rigorous as higher status college, Hunter is definitely bang for the buck.

    A very inexpensive state school with a fantastic reputation. Professors just want to teach in NYC and usually NYU and Columbia don't have open positions, this school attracts the best Professors and students.
