    New York is not a cheap city but if you look there are many places to get good quality things for a small fee. Also I have a Groupon account so that always helps.

    The semester cost isn't too bad, even though it could be better. I wish the school did more for commuting students like helping out with subway fares and LIRR fares. It is extremely expensive to commute every month.
