Cal Poly is one of the most prestigious learning environments that I have ever been to. Extremely hands on in terms of learning with various labs and studios. San Luis Obispo has many things to offer educationally, including classrooms surrounded by nature and sunny throughout the year.

Perfect for professional and pre professional degree seekers. Very graduation oriented -- if you don't change your major, you'll probably get out on time. Beautiful surrounding areas, but suburban feel -- if you're ready for the city life it might not be for you.

Cal Poly is a fantastic school for most anyone pursuing a degree in engineering, business, or architecture (though other majors are fairly well represented as well). The location and surrounding areas are fantastic and beautiful, and the on-campus atmosphere is busy and active. Greek life is pretty low key, however there are still plenty of social and networking opportunities.
