Categories Comments What to do for fun Caldwell always has an event on campus. As long as you stay updated by reading the posters around campus and checking your email daily you will stay involved. The campus always has competitive events, musical events, and an event for every occasion. Basketball and Volleyball are big events at Caldwell. Many students attend those games.
Food and Dining The food at Caldwell College varies. Sometimes it can be very delicious and sometimes you wont know what it is. For the most part you get whatever you want because of the different stations. If there was ever anything you didnt want there are a lot of places around campus which offer you a wider variety. The dining hall is gorgeous and also a great plce to study. Overall, food and dining is ok at Caldwell despite the fact that the dining hall closes at 7pm when nobody really eats until late. They should keep the cafe opened later.
Dorm Life The dorm life is the best ! The dorm life is where everything happens. Its where your able to interact with new people and have fun. Along with that fun comes studying, depending on which dorm you live in being distracted can be a big thing or a little thing. The activities SGA creates for the dorms keeps everyone involved in the on campus life. The activities keep the students interested because they stick together to stay in competition. It forces them to get along with others and build a team.
Academic Rigor The academics at Caldwell College are very vigorous. Like any other school there are the flying colors courses. These courses also have their difficult assignments too. The Art Department for me and many of my other fellow schoolmates is very hard. The teachers in the Art Department teach us all as if we were all art majors. We all only take art because it is a requirement in the core classes.
Tips for prospective students Use the resources given to you i.e (writing center, language lab, tutors). Make sure you reach out to your advisers they will always be there to help and their assistance is much needed. Make sure you complete your fafsa ahead of time to receive more awards. Take advantage of the work study jobs.
In three sentences Caldwell College has a very diverse campus. Every one seems to be a part of on campus life. The classes I have taken so far really stimulate my mind.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I take walks at 3am frequently. No doubt in my mind that i'll get back safely
Greek Life No such thing. They try but.. blah.
Bang for the buck Very expensive. I don'e know what i'd do without financial aid.
Food and Dining I personally think it could be better. And stay open for longer.
Dorm Life There are 3 buildings. People don't think that the dorms are adequate but I think they're really nice. Another chance to make friends.
Academic Rigor Academics are very good. Teachers help you every step of the way and advisers are the nicest people you will ever meet.
Tips for prospective students Don't buy books from the bookstore
In three sentences A very small community-oriented college. The night-life isn't too special but long-lasting friends are inevitable. It's a very comfortable choice if you're not too social.

Categories Comments Greek Life Don't come for the Greek life. There are only two sororities and one fraternity. The sororities don't do step or anything like that they just host parties. In my opinion the campus still has a lot of growing to do
Bang for the buck You get what you pay for . It all depends on how you look at it.
What to do for fun There are places to visit in town. Such as diners, movie theater, mini stores, and shopping centers. Willowbrook mall is located 10 min. away from campus.
Food and Dining The food is good . Just like any other college you get tired of eating the same thing. There are local places in town to order from though . The cafeteria should be open later but other than that its pretty good.
Dorm Life Dorm Life is cool, its a good way to meet new people. You become closer with those who live in your dorm as the year progresses. The dorms are co-ed but both sexes are comfortable with that.
Academic Rigor The courses are as rigorous as you make them. As long as you can stay focused you will be able to manage. However , attendance plays a huge role.
Tips for prospective students Use the student center and your advisers as resources . Keep up with your balance and avoid having holds on your account. Make time to study and do homework on a daily basis otherwise you will get lazy.
In three sentences Caldwell College is a small campus. Everyone knows everyone and are pretty loving . There is no discrimination and a lot of diversity.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Campus safety at Caldwell College is very helpful.
Greek Life Unlike most colleges, Greek life isn't a big deal. To my knowledge, we have two sororities and a fraternity.
Clubs and Activities Caldwell College boasts a diverse student body with diverse interests. Er go into wit, there is a diverse club/activity scene for students. activity groups include art, accounting, Martial Arts, French, Italian, criminal justice, pro-life and psychology clubs.
Great for these types of students Are you looking for a school with small class sizes, inspiring professors, flexible and convenient scheduling, a lovely campus, and reasonable tuition? Caldwell College is for you!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The end of March is usually Caldwell Day. Classes are canceled and students come to school dressed in red. After a breakfast and discussion about community service, the students are divided into groups and go out to better our community. From food banks and local churches to nature preserves and senior citizen living facilities, the students at Caldwell College donate time and talent to leave the place better than we found it.
Bang for the buck For a private college, Caldwell is less expensive and gives more attention to the individual student. Additionally, academic aspects are more rewarded and advertised. Knowing that most colleges promote only their athletic glories, this is an incredibly refreshing change of pace for parents and students alike.
What to do for fun The town of Caldwell boasts various shops, eateries (see above), and a movie theater where a student can unwind after a long day. For the more ambitious student, a bus or car ride can get a student to the Prudential Center in Newark, The Meadowlands arena, and, in a mere 60 minutes, the Jersey Shore. A twenty minute ride can get a student to the Big Apple, New York City. Additionally, the towns of Verona and Montclair (a miniature New York City) are also a good place for recreational activities.
Food and Dining The dining at Caldwell College is filling and costs $5 only on Fridays. Off campus food is also worth checking out. There are pizzerias, coffee houses, two taverns, a diner and other good places for food.
Dorm Life I live in Verona (only a town away from campus) and therefore do not have much to say about life in a dorm. However all I can say is this: There are two dormitories on campus, Mother Joseph (Mojo) and Dominican Hall (Domo). Domo is more upscale and boasts a kitchen for every two dorms.
Academic Rigor Classes at Caldwell College are mentally stimulating and are challenging as well as enjoyable. A wonderfully supportive staff encourage the student to work harder and offer insightful words of wisdom when the going gets tough.
Tips for prospective students 1) Register for classes as early as possible. 2) Don't take night classes if you can help it. 3) Use your time wisely. 4) Don't seek to be the center of attention but do not exactly play shrinking violet.
In three sentences Caldwell College offers the student a liberal arts education which is designed to help the student acquire an awareness in civic/moral duties, guide students to develop important thinking skills and appreciate different cultures. Additionally, the school motivates it's students to seek what is honest and just as well as to pursue intellectual study while engaging in experience within the community on and off campus. The vision of the school is shaped by the framework of the 800 year old Dominican order and deeply rooted in Catholic values.

Categories Comments Campus Safety The campus is very safe, and it also has security 24/7. There are hardly any dangers except the deer that live around the woods.
Greek Life I do not know about any of this.
Clubs and Activities There are plenty of clubs and activities that go on all year round. They also make it possible for someone to bring up there own club with just ten signatures.
Great for these types of students Caldwell is a great place for students who want to be part of organizations, clubs, and presidents of programs. It is very opened to new ideas and change.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Caldwell is very small but has a section that could be used just to relax next to its church. They have many traditions one of them being clash of the classes in which sophomores and freshman fight for a trophy by completing obstacles.
Bang for the buck Caldwell college is a private school, and it cost for being so. It is almost 40,000 a year but try working with financial aid to get the most out of your money.
What to do for fun In Caldwell there are many boutiques so you could go shopping. There is also a movie theater that usually only shows four movies a week. There are an abundant amount of restaurants to dine at or take out. Also there is a bus stop that takes you to NYC if you want to enjoy those sights.
Food and Dining The Dining hall is a beautiful sight to see. It has been remodeled, and has plenty of entertainment to keep you excited the whole academic year. The food is average and plenty of dessert is served.
Dorm Life I had to live in a freshman dorm, and my first year was great. I had very little problems with the people that lived next to me and the Resident Assistance always tried to do activities with the floor so that we could get to know each other.
Academic Rigor In Caldwell you are very well awarded for what you have accomplished. The work load is intense as any other school as expected, but manageable.
Tips for prospective students If you are thinking of attending Caldwell expect a close knit community and peace throughout the campus. If you visit Caldwell find as much information that you can so that you can make your decision wisely. Do not hesitate to ask anyone any questions all of the people are friendly.
In three sentences Caldwell College is a very quiet, comfortable, and relaxing place to dorm. The teachers are always available for questions and problems that you have during class. They also make it easy to contact others when you need help or have a problem.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Unlike some of the bigger higher learning institutions, there aren't emergency call boxes throughout the campus. However, there are security teams very visible on the grounds. Never felt any question of feeling unsafe...plenty of lights on the campus grounds.
Clubs and Activities An array of different groups, clubs and activities for people who are looking to become involved. A little bit of something for everyone!
Great for these types of students Caldwell is vastly diverse and it really prepares you for the real world. The campus, whether a commuter or campus resident, is a mosaic of vast ethnicity's religious affiliations and sexual orientations. Their arms are open and receptive to everyone!
Bang for the buck As a private institution, the tuition and fees are quite comparable but because Caldwell is a small school, the personalization is great.
What to do for fun Go into town, take walks around the campus (we even have deer lol), attend the sporting events which are so exciting, attend socials that are given on campus. There is always something to do to keep your mind, body and soul busy. Make the most of your college experience.
Food and Dining Nothing is like home-cooked meals but the cafeteria will do! Just wish that there were later dining hours for that late night hunger pain!
Dorm Life Dorm life is what you make it. The first priority is to your academia and socialization is what you must not let be your main goal. Getting involved with extracurricular activities is a good way to balance out living and learning!
Academic Rigor You must put the time and studying into your academics but when you do, you will definitely reap the benefits. If you are having academic problems, the professors and the academic advisor is there to assist you.
Tips for prospective students Come prepared to give 100% and Caldwell will match it!! Outstanding personnel, student population and professors. Great atmosphere for learning.
In three sentences Love the school, Love the people, Love the sports!!

Categories Comments In three sentences One of the most intriguing things I have found from Caldwell College is that the warm and inspiring environment nurtures both my mental and physical growth. Additionally, the courses are so vigorous and demanding that I can put my effort and time to study. More than that, the community services, specifically C-LIFE, help me realize that life must be better if I learn to sacrifice and give out towards others.

Academic Rigor At Caldwell College, you must study and understand the lesson in order to pass the class. There are no fly by courses at Caldwell College.
Tips for prospective students Caldwell College has excellent 5-year programs that prospective students should look into.
In three sentences Caldwell College is a small and close knit campus where all staff and faculty members greet you and do genuinely care for you in every way.
