In all the courses, you will get something out of it even if its not related to your major. Some teachers are helpful, but some don't know what they're doing... (especially in core classes). coursework/projects aren't difficult, but time consuming. you have to manage your time well. you learn more by working hard on all projects and from critiques (feedback from fellow students and professors) which give suggestions/commentary on how to improve your project. It's not too challenging and not too easy.

California College of the Arts is amazing,they let their students strive and want the best for them not only as students but as people as well. Also, they have an incredible diversity population, every corner you turn, you meet someone with a different background. To put it shortly, everyone should attend to CCA.

In my 3 years at CCA I have come across teachers that are not adequate to be teaching, some have no experience and some have the experience but are just poor teachers. As far as the curriculum I believe that for my major, a lot could be added to improve it.

I've been at CCA a year and will be finishing my degree there for sure. 25 or less core class sizes, and most teachers work in the field that they teach.
