CLU offers a one of a kind educational experience. With smaller classroom sizes, you feel like an individual, not just a number lost in a sea of students. It really possesses a sense of family and community here.

I like the smaller school environment. It's way easier to make friends here than at bigger colleges and everyone is nice and friendly. The freshmen dorms are really nice and close together, so you can visit other halls and make friends with people regardless of what dorm they live in.

It has a small community which is nice. I say hi to all my teachers when I pass by them, and they say hi back and remember my name. Every staff member is extremely interested in helping you however they can.

California Lutheran University is a small private liberal arts university consisting of about 5000 students. It's a very good school to really get to know your professors, and get many opportunities for both research and internships. One of the key beauties of this school is the closeness you develop with the staff, here you are not just a number.

Cal Lu is rad. It is a place where students can not only grow by leaps and bounds as free-thinking individuals, but also a place that constantly reminds you of how dependent we are on each other to improve as individuals. No one is lost in the crowd at Cal Lu, thanks to smaller class sizes and a genuinely caring faculty/staff, and we are challenged to be global citizens that have a positive impact locally and globally.
