CPP's staff is unmatched in many ways. Being an architecture major, I've met some of the best in the field and have been taught by professors who have been in the business a long time. Some classes can be frustrating if you have a teacher who doesn't take the time to show up, answer questions, and offer office hours.

The teachers for your major are amazing. The advisors are extremely busy with projects of their own so they don't give the best advice. Students are helpful and friendly.

Big, green, and animals everywhere. Definitely a perfect school for a pre-vet student. The classes are hands on which definitley makes it live up to its motto learn by doing. The teachers are nice and experienced so they have no problem showing you how you need to do things.

Cal Poly Pomona is a diverse school with a variety of majors to offer. Because of its Polytechnic status, the majority of the different majors get to experience hands on work, getting straight into the field of your desired career. Socially, Cal Poly is a great school to make friends, become active in a school/community setting and is a safe environment.

Cal Poly Pomona is a great place to study engineering due to its hands on learning. Along with the type of education; it is filled with multiple clubs, which allow a student to get involved a lot. Whether a person is involved or not, the campus provides students with so much stuff that no one can get bored.

The campus is absolutely gorgeous, but beware of walking up hills all day long! The professors try their hardest with the budget cuts and some lack of current technology, but never turn away students asking for help. Also, we have a great basketball team and a growing social life that many students find very exciting!
