This university is very small which is extremely beneficial, because it allows the professors to be able to work very closely, and often on a one-on-one basis, with their students. All of the professors that I've had know me by name, and this has helped me tremendously because it is easier to get help when I need it. The professors at this university truly care about their students, and it shows in the attention and detail they put into their classes.

    I believe CSUB is a great school to attend due to the low number of students. This gives the current students more one on one interaction with the professors and the material that is taught. The price of attending this school is not as outrageous as some of the schools I intended to attend.

    Good environment, I feel like everyone might even know each other, it is no the biggest school so it gives everyone a chance to feel like they are home. Everyone is friendly and helpful here which I really love. Staff is not intimidating, just need to keep a positive attitude and outlook on everyone and your school life will be great.

    CSUB is a very nice school on the west side of Bakersfield. They have many programs for sports, as well as a wide variety of majors to choose from.

    I would rate this school as an 8 out of 10. A great, safe school to avoid any distractions. The school is located in a nice area of Bakersfield, but Bakersfield is not the nicest city in stunning California.

    This is a great school for first time students that are obtaining their first undergraduate degree. Many of the students on campus have transferred from junior colleges. There are also a few graduate students pursuing a graduates degree.

    CSUB is an awesome school to attend because it has so many opportunities to offer incoming students and a wide variety of fields that you can study. CSUB is a beautiful campus, has a lot to offer and is really affordable compared to the bigger colleges. Since my time at CSUB I have had a great experience and every one there is very helpful.

    The school is very centered at students but teachers and staff are lazy. Workers are helpful but wish staff was like that. I expected better service from people working there.
