Careful, don't plan your schedule without checking the class locations! Huge campus and you'll need time to get around.

CSULB has a fantastic campus, and a wide variety of classes. The parking system is largely unbalanced. The extra curricular activities are plenty and welcoming.

The large amount of diversity opens one's eyes to different cultures and perspectives. A beautiful campus with many resources for information such as programs for studying abroad to a University Student Union where you can study and or play games. Students seems friendly and everyone seems to be involved and focuses on their goals

Long Beach State is a large, beautiful campus in sunny southern California. The campus is chock full of clubs and activities to get involved in and has an active Greek community. Walking through campus is a visual delight with its modern building designs, beautiful landscaping, and, of course, its iconic sports arena the Walter Pyramid.

As far as campuses go, it is beautiful, helped by the fact that many sculptures adorn the campus in various places, it is like being in an open museum. There are always a group of jugglers and acrobats performing at some point in the huge grassy area right outside the bookstore, which is also a great place to relax in the shade on hot sunny days that Long Beach is prone to. The teachers can also be convinced on hot days if you are charming enough to take class outside to one of the many grassy areas giving you a nice escape from the same classroom walls every day, so I give Cal State Long Beach a 9/10.

I really enjoy attending this school, it is not pricy and very well as far as educational opportunities go. However, this is a commuter school and student life is not prominent - a lot of people come to class and leave. I'd recommend it to students on a budget that wish to pursue a higher education of great quality.

CSULB brings people from all walks of life together into one school. There's a large age range of students, so even older students going back to school fit right in on campus. The main pulls to CSULB are the programs for Engineering, Nursing, and Art, which provide the best tools for finding students jobs after graduation.

CSULB has one of the most diverse and well-rounded campuses. For Fall 2014, our university was the #1 most applied to school in California! There are so many clubs, organizations, and opportunities to become involved that you will always feel at home at CSULB.

I love this college. There are many resources available to current students. My favorite perks with tuition is the free transit pass and the on campus gym membership.
