The classes are not too large so the teachers have more one-on-one time with their students. The only problem are furlough days that take away more time to learn.

California State University of Monterey Bay is a school is very accepting and diverse. The professors actually care about the students and help them out in any way that they can. It's a small college, but it is also cheap, and a great choice.

CSU-Monterey Bay is a great school. The school size is still currently growing, and creating a bigger community for students. CSUMB is working on creating a stronger program for computer science and informational technology, if interested.

I absolutely love it here. You learn so much more than you would ever expect and can still have a great time as long as you are open to learning. If you want to drink all day and be fratty or take selfies... PLEASE DONT COME HERE.

CSUMB is a small university located in a beautiful area. Surrounded by beautiful terrestrial and marine ecosystems with unpredictable weather. The renovation of the Fort Ord Military Base into a university is sure to provide a unique perception of college campus.

CSU Monterey Bay is a good school and offers a lot to its students, especially considering it is the least expensive CSU. CSUMB has a great deal of students that are science majors (Environmental Science Technology and Policy, Marine Science, Biology(including pre-med), but also has plenty of students majoring in Business, Kinesiology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Visual Performing Arts, Human Communications, and Liberal Studies to name a few. CSUMB is a small school is is perfect for students that think it is important to personally known his/her professors.

CSUMB is, on the whole, a lovely school, if a bit isolated. Contrary to what one might expect, the college is not actually in Monterey; it is located on the outskirts of Seaside, in the old US Army base Fort Ord. The students and faculty are very friendly, and because of the distance from the surrounding towns and cities, the school has developed into a very close-knit community.
