    Lets face it. Universities in the US are expensive. Why? Its hard to say. CSUMB is one of the least expensive universities in the California State University system. In exchange for lower tuition price, you may not have amenities such as a greek row, massive sports teams and stadiums, or amazing parties. However, you still have a dedicated staff, multiple resources for self-improvement and a beautiful experience with nature on the coast of California.

    Lots of free activities and entertainment for CSUMB students. Tuition is on the lower end of the Cal State Universities.

    As one of or even THE cheapest Cal State University, you get what you pay for. Not the best academics, a sleepy campus, and mediocre lifestyle.
