Definitely as a film school, although the equipment and quality of staff may be lower than a top tier school, you will still get a good education and learn all the same things everyone else at the other schools will, and you'll get out with a lot less debt.

CSUN has a good vibe. The student, professors, and administrators are upbeat and just plain nice. I'm a foodie, so I love the on and off campus food available in the area. I take the bus to and from school, and the route is easy and cheap. I love going to college more than I thought I would.

My dad is a retired veteran which allows me to attend any California university with tuition and fees covered. The only things I have to pay for out of pocket are books and parking passes. Overall, a great bang for the buck

Comparing to a Private and a UC. CSUN is very affordable. They give you plenty of scholarships too.

Cal State Northridge offers plenty of financial aid to the average student for the most part. It is very much worth it to attend this school, as it also offers a variety of things to do and choose from. You will never be bored here. CSUN is also the largest CSU campus with the largest student population, so you are likely to make tons of new friends over the semesters here.
