The greatest thing, in regards to the learning environment at Cal State San Marcos, is that students get to feel like a student and not just another number. The classes are rather small- medium size, about high school size, depending on where you went to high school, which allows students, should they choose, to develop great relationships with their professors. I got to personally know each one of the the professors I've had thus far and it's been such a great experience. They have taught me so much...

» Read MoreProf. are great and well educated, they are really committed to the students education. The campus, although a commuter campus, has a great community scene and has many opportunities to get involved and develop not only character but leaderships as well. There is always classes to choose from, even when sections are closed as long as you are on top of it, you can usually crash and get into the course.
» Read MoreI would rate my college as a 7 because all the activities are on days not everyone can get to. They have a more targeted audience which is those who don't have to work and live on campus. I do enjoy the beautiful campus and clean landscape.

» Read MoreCal State San Marcos is definitely not a university that most people choose as a first choice; however, this institution has proved to be my home away from home. The ambiance given by my fellow students, professors, and staff is one of genuine kindness and joviality. I have had some of the best professors, and have learned more from them than some cocky know-it-all kid thought he could.
