Great school with a great community at its foundation. You will meet people you disagree with and will learn to serve and learn alongside them. You will make lifelong friends that will change your life in more ways that you can imagine.

-Join Clubs! They are a lot of fun, but not too many clubs or else your grades might suffer! -Be prepared to have vocation stuffed down your throat everyday, because it is very important to the Calvin faculty. Your first Interim semester will be called Developing the Christian Mind. (tons of fun!) -Participate in Dorm Activities such as Floor Dates, Bible Study and Dorm Worship. -Girls, be prepared to dress well, because you will have classmates who will try for as long as they can to come to class in heels! -Calvin has this thing called, Ring before Spring and, Freshman Frenzie. Be prepared to possibly find your future husband/wife at Calvin. It may not be during Freshman Frenzie, but it will happen later on and if you don't find your future partner, and get engaged before the Spring of your Senior Year, it's okay. You'll be an old maiden or bachelor for sometime along side many of the other Calvin students who realize that getting married at 22 is a bit young.

    1) Even if you don't want or need a job, get one anyway because it'll help you in how you interact with different people. 2) Study and find a tutor because as much as some people think they are grown and can handle the world, small things still trip you up. 3) Never say never. Whether it's trying something new that you think you would never do or if you think you will never fail a class.
