Around Town

Campbell, like I mentioned before, it's a private school and the location of the University is in a small village called Buies Creek. There aren't that many attractions around Campbell University but if you stay with your close friends and make good relationships then Campbell will an exciting Campus.

Get involved in CAB ( campus life activities) and be social. My best friend told me college is like kindergarten, don't be afraid to ask to use someones crayons. (:

Campbell's Student government and 'CAB' organizations are always holding activities that students can go to throughout the week including games movies and fun resident programs. There have been several concerts, appearances by Phillip Phillips, and The Goo Goo Dolls. and even field trips to fun parks and ice cream parlors.

Dunn is only about 30 minutes away where there is shopping and dining and if you want the city Raleigh is only about a hour away.

Campbell offers many activities to keep its students busy. They have cheap sponsored trips to washington, D.C. and the Hershey Park. They also have things happening on campus.

There are movies every Friday and Saturday night unless another event overlaps it. Concerts are often hosted on campus and the school chorus is amazing.

Bowling Intramurals Movie Nights

Campbell hosts many activities for students, such as trips to amusement parks and movie theaters, as well as on-campus activities like pumpkin carving in October or traveling magicians in the auditorium. The Campus Activity Board plans events and sends out a calendar for students. The movie nights on Fridays in the auditorium are fun.

I never utilized much of the on campus activities, but Campbell offered many opportunities for students to get involved. The activities I did attend were never disappointing though.

They have a lot of campus activities including intramural sports, going to games, movie nights, etc.
